Credit card for travel miles
We are planning on going to Hawaii in DEC. 2004 or Jan 2005. I'm interested in getting a credit card for travel miles. I will be building a new home spring of 2004 so I thought that I could use the card for a much of the expenses on the house instead of using the check book. What would you suggest?
Thanks Kathie

Dear Kathie,
You probably will be best choosing a bank card (Visa or Mastercard) that offers miles on a variety of airlines. Using your credit card instead of your check book is a great way to accumulate miles, just be careful, about the amount of credit you’re taking on. Also some bank cards limit the number of miles you can earn in a month and year, so you might consider two cards. Check with the following banks for a card that will best suit your needs; Bank of America, Chase Credit Card. Citibank, and Capital One. All of these providers offer a variety of air-miles earning cards that should fit your needs.
