Using Old TWA Miles
Dear Penny,
My folks never did anything with their TWA FFB miles...does American still honor the "no expiration date" printed on the vouchers?
Thank you.

Dear Marilyn,
Since the fall of TWA and its frequent flyer program, Aviators, former members have been able to exchange TWA miles for American AAdvantage miles. The nearly two-year grace period ended June 30, 2003, officially American Airline no longer accepts TWA miles. However, you might try calling the American Airline department that handled transferring TWA miles into the American program at 1-800-882-8880, and inquire if they will make an exception for you.
All the best,
joel
