I read your essay about Ireland. What is the most important thing(s) about Ireland you would tell me before I go?

Not sure which essay about Ireland you are refering to.

The best thing you could do before going is to read Travelers' Tales Ireland in its entirety. If you have time, you could also read Alan Ryan's The Readers Companion to Ireland, but false humility aside, it's not as good as the TT book.

And remember, you've got a famous name to be going to Ireland with!
