Using Credit Card Points
My fiancé and I are wondering if his mother can use her air miles (from Visa credit card) to buy a ticket for him. If so, how is that done since the airline ticket would not be issued in the credit card holder's name? He lives in the United States and I live in Canada.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Ruth,
Yes, since the miles were earned with a credit card they should be transferable. Most credit cards have a special toll-free customer service number that can be found on the back of the card or on the monthly statement. Simply have the card holder call that number and request the tickets in the traveler’s name.
Have a good trip.
