Is My Deal Too Good?
I was wondering if you have heard of the websites VOYAGENOW.COM or ASIAVOYAGE24.COM for Southeast Asia reservations? They seem to have good prepaid prices for hotels but no one knows of them. Thanks for any information that you can provide.

Hi Dalano,
This is a tricky one. On the one hand, I know you want to save money and a good rate can be enticing. Without any reliable references it is difficult to determine the legitimacy of any travel provider. There is no shortage of examples where consumers have been burned by bogus travel deals.
Before you buy, get references and check them out. Without references, go elsewhere. Be concerned if the company does not accept credit cards or charges an additional fee for using a credit card. Not accepting credit cards is common among scam companies because it helps them avoid accountability.
In general I find it best to stick with well established travel providers. Most often you pay the same rates. If you do pay a slightly higher price the value and extra security is well worth it.
Travel well,
Joel
