If I fly at Christmas will I have to unwrap my Christmas gifts for inspection?

Yes!

Anytime you carry a wrapped package you’re likely to have them inspected. Pack them in unwrapped boxes and if they're not fragile, check them in as baggage. Try to avoid carrying them.
