The System

I work at Walt Disney World in Cinderella’s Castle. We are expected to give great service every time. Too many "guests" want something for nothing. It is very unfair. Many of our management believe that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I will however go out of my way for a guest that is polite and has a legitimate concern. One way I will do this is give the family a pass to miss most of the wait to a busy ride in the Magic Kingdom. I started doing this when there was a problem with the food the guest was served. The manager said, "Well are they really complaining?" I said no, and the manager would not go out. So I stepped in and gave the guest a voucher. Thank you for the segment on being polite. There are websites out there that tell guests of Disney how to get free things by complaining. It is very unfair that people take it out on the "cast." Everybody deserves good service, but don’t take advantage of the system.
