Transferring Mileage
My son is in Iraq for his second tour, I have a friend who wants to donate some of his frequent flyer miles to me and my husband so we can go see him when he flies home. We don't know how to transfer the miles. Can you tell us how to go about doing that?
Thank you.

Hi Sharon,
Most airlines have relaxed their stance towards transferring miles from one program to another. There usually are limitations and restrictions on the number of miles that can be transferred in one year. Check with the specific airline’s customer service department for details. If you cannot transfer enough miles your friend can always use the miles to make a ticket for you.
Good luck and thank you for your son’s service.
