Using partner airlines
I recently booked a 6,000 mile multicity trip through Orbitz - of the seven segments, six are on Delta. My primary loyalty program is with Alaska, a Delta partner.
What (if anything) can I do to have the miles I fly applied to my Alaska account vs my Delta account? I rarely fly Delta and would prefer to earn Alaska miles as it would push me toward a higher tier status.

Greetings,
Under normal circumstances you can have a Delta ticket booked to earn miles with Alaska Airlines and vice versa. However, normally at the time of booking you need to state your preference for Alaska Air miles. I am also not sure if you can do it through Orbitz which is why I recommend booking direct.
For your current booking call Alaska Air and make a request to receive mileage credit on your Alaska Air account, you should have your ticket or flight confirmation number available as you'll need it.
Good luck,
Joel
