Choosing an airline

I will be traveling from Paris to Las Vegas in early January. I am considering Delta and Continental and just wanted to get your advice on which airlines is better.

Dear Philippe,
I haven’t traveled on Continental recently. My last Delta flight was fine. If I were choosing between the two, I’d think about my own needs:
• Which airline flies the most direct route to my destination?
• What flight times are most convenient for my schedule?
• What flight is the least expensive?
• Which airlines do I use most for any mileage program?
• What is the on-time track record of each airline? (You can check other airline concerns at the DOT website, http://www.transtats.bts.gov/Fields.asp?Table_ID=236)

Generally, I take the airline that best suits my schedule and budget.
