The governments of Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe have joined forces to create one of the world’s largest conservation areas in Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, an amalgamation of Mozambique’s Limpopo Park, South Africa’s Kruger National Park and Zimbabwe’s Gonarezhou National Park. All fences and border controls will be dismantled and the park will open next year, but it may be some time before the park can handle visitors in large numbers.
