The Basque separatist group ETA has sent a letter to airlines, hotels, tour operators and travel companies warning of a campaign of terror against SpainÂ’s tourist industry during the summer of 2003. The letter warned passengers and customers not to spend their vacations in Spain, and said that it intended to “hit the tourist industry in Spain” this summer.
