Following the recent crash of an Egyptian charter aircraft, the British government has published a heretofore secret list of airlines it has banned from its airspace due to safety concerns. The passenger airlines include Sierra Leone carriers Star Air and Air Universal, the Congo’s Central Air Express, Enimex from Estonia, and Bulgarian carrier Inter Trans Air. Additionally, the UK has a blanket ban on airlines from the following countries: Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Liberia, and Tajikistan.
